Bio
Fatma Naguib is an actor, writer, and producer. Born and raised in the land of Pharaohs, currently hustling in the land of poutine. Her latest TV appearances include the CBC show "One More Time" and the Netflix series "Newton's Cradle."
Fatma has a genuine passion for the stage, having been part of various shows, including "Get a Dog," "The Do-Gooders," "Benched," and, most recently, "The Woman Who Ate Falafel," which is her debut solo comedy show as a writer, director, producer, and performer.
She has worked in the field of dubbing and voice-over for 15 years. Her voice acting credits include "Queen Amanitore" in Sid Meier’s "Civilization VI" game, all female characters on the YouTube channel "Arabian Fairy Tales" with over 2.6 billion views, and popular TV shows like "Minute to Win It" and "The Taste."
She has also translated and localized notable shows like Guillermo del Toro’s "Trollhunters," "Hey Arnold," and "Dora the Explorer." Among her songwriting credits are shows like “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Penguins of Madagascar,” and “Kung Fu Panda.”
Additionally, she wrote and presented the online series “Common Sense,” a women-empowering comedy show created to kick the patriarchy’s butt, which garnered over 35 million views and led to her invitation as a TEDx speaker in 2018.
For unknown reasons, Fatma pursued 11 years of graduate studies, resulting in a BFA in Oil Painting, a BA in Filmmaking, and a diploma in Comedy Writing and Performance. Fatma usually spends her days trying to force her cat to love her back, and, when she loses hope, she creates art.
